    WT Freak....Pics of Male Witches, and or Wizards

    Now why is it that pics of male witches or wizards are always older man??? Yet, all female witches so young, and sexy??? Is It just sterotyping by the artists, or it's just the way each are seen as? I for one have a hard time believe that all male witches and wizards, are all white bearded older men. Yes I have a beard, but I have it for a different reason then Just for looks. Long story short...I didn't like being mistakened for a high school kid. Yet all I see in pics are young sexy women, and older bearded men. Don't get me wrong I found a few without looking older, yet most are elfish looking at best. So why is it that there are few pics of younger male wizards and witches? What I am trying to say is...I just don't like the way men are made to look. I for one am tired of trying to ask artist if the would do some their drawings of male witches and wizards to look alittle younger. Seems this thought of younger male witches and wizards, out of the question. Yet the less dressed and sexy looking the female witch is the better they make her to look like a pin up girl.

    Okay now that my rant is over......... May the goddess protect you and the ones you love.

    i am soooo with you! i was on a quest about 3 months ago to find pics of young good looking witchy men! nothing!!! i was mad!! i don't get it either! i wish i was an artist cause i would sooo draw some! i mean we do have gods in this religion as well! good rant!! btw! :D

    Good question! The traditional (I know that word is confusing these days) effegees (I know that is not spelled right) of Goddesses look nothing like pin-up girls. They are full-bodied and buxom. I guess that is just not sexy anymore. I would love to know when sexy became a priority in Goddess worshipp...I'm sure SHE would be very impressed...all the Goddesses in fact, at how they are being depicted in the neo-Pagan veiw.

    I actually can relate to this one.. My young son Sean(7 1/2) has been saying to me for about 2 yrs now..Mom your a witch(i have not told the younger ones as they do not know what it means,and likely would make things difficult for them if they spread this thru their Catholic school lol!)
    So i said umm baby why do you say that? He says cause you LOOK like one! I asked why does mummy look like one? He said well black hair,green eyes and long nails! LOL!

    Hmm ok that describes oh about a third of the worlds population he,he!
    At any rate my friend,I do understand where you are coming from the misconceptions associated with witches is well as plenty as the different types today..
    keeps it interesteing and amusing though does it not? ;-)
